If you love nature, you’ll be surrounded

In Sardinia the natural wilderness reigns supreme.

The population density on the island is one of the lowest in the Mediterranean and large expanses of land are completely uninhabited: for this reason many animals have chosen this island so they can live undisturbed. From the flamingos you will see flying over Villa Alfonso, to deer and fallow deer in the natural reserves and different biodiversities in the Sette Fratelli forests or Sulcis park. And don’t forget the beautiful underwater world: the bountiful sea fills visitors with awe and fishing nets with fish.

And if you love good food, you won’t be disappointed

Fish and seafood are staples on every menu but the land also provides plenty of delicious offerings.

Cagliari and its coast offer an endless variety of eateries, offering Mediterranean cuisine with something for everyone’s palate: from street food (Poetto is traditionally the top spot) to Michelin-starred restaurants, every place has something different. And no meal would be complete with trying the local wines, which surprise even connoisseurs. Or, if you prefer, the ever-present Sardinian beer.
